The weather at the weekend thwarted the Bully Wee’s attempts to immediately build on their victory against Berwick, but manager Jim Duffy is keen to maintain the good form at the National Stadium for Tuesday’s rearranged league encounter with Queen’s Park, which has a 7.30pm kick off.
“It will be the same squad as last week with the addition of Stephen MacDonald who is free from suspension now,” Jim said. “But it will be prior to kick-off before we decide who is best to start.”
One player who does seem likely to feature is goalkeeper David Crawford…
“David will play again as a trialist, he has good experience and is a talented ‘keeper and we’re hopeful of agreeing a short-term deal with him.”
On the match itself Jim concluded, “It will be tough and we will need the same spirit that we displayed at Berwick but it’s important for us to keep the momentum gained from our last match.”
