McMullan Leaves Clyde

Paul McMullan has agreed to leave The Bully Wee and will be formally free to find another club from Monday.

The winger had a difficult 2011, having been beset with injury problems from the day he made his debut for Clyde in January. After an encouraging start against Montrose, he unfortunately sustained a broken foot in the second half. This season, following a difficult recovery period, he has struggled to regain a first team place.

Commenting on his exit, Jim Duffy said, “We wish Paul all the best and hope that he has a better 2012 than this year has been for him. He is a terrific lad but it just hasn’t worked out for him here.

“I hope he can find another club stay injury free and get back playing regular first team football again. He goes with our best wishes.”
