Sponsored Walk 2011 – Final Total

Following September’s sponsored walk from Shawfield to Broadwood, a final total has now been confirmed for the fundraising event for the club.

Walk organiser, Gordon Sydney, contacted www.clydefc.co.uk with the details:-

“After all the effort to ‘Walk The Walk’, the somewhat harder task of gathering in sponsorship money had to be carried out. However, I’m pleased to say that that exercise has now been completed and the final total raised by the five people who completed the walk is a very commendable £851.

“I’d like to publicly thank those who actually walked and also those people that took the time to sponsor us, whether via the sponsorship forms or the website, or who simply donated a small amount of their hard-earned cash.

“Volunteers for next year are now being sought…!”

Well done again to the five participants – Gordon, Stuart Robertson, Gordon Nisbet, John Taylor and Hunter Miller.
