Gallagher Joins The Bully Wee

Jim Duffy has moved to add to the club’s squad by agreeing terms with former Celtic man Declan Gallagher.

The 20-year-old defender left Celtic Park earlier in the summer and his transfer to Clyde was completed this afternoon. Although he didn’t feature for The Hoops first team, he did pick up a Youth Cup winners medal in 2010, following victory over Rangers in the final at Hampden.

Gallagher then spent the majority of last season on loan at Stranraer, where he played regularly for the Stair Park side; a total of 26 appearances and 3 goals.
