Setting the Wheels in Motion
The Bully Wee face a lengthy trip to Elgin City on Tuesday, as the club makes a third attempt to fulfill one of two away trips to the Highland outfit this season.
The second attempt in March was called off at a late stage, meaning the club had already incurred travel costs. That gave one family of Clyde stalwarts an idea how they could make an extremely generous donation to the club.
The Rennie family from Cumbernauld have offered to pay for the players & officials coach on Tuesday, which will leave Broadwood just after lunchtime.
Alan and Margaret are pictured here next to the bus, which is currently provided by Golden Eagle of Salsburgh. They attend almost all Clyde matches along with their sons, Alan and Andrew.
The club’s thanks go to the family of CIC members for a very kind and much appreciated gesture.
