PREVIEW: National Stadium Awaits

The IRN-BRU Third Division campaign continues tomorrow, with Clyde’s first away match against Queen’s Park.

Surprisingly, it’s the club’s first visit to the Hampden Park in over 17 years, with the old Glasgow rivals only meeting once during that period; a 4-1 win for the Bully Wee at Broadwood in 2008.

After re-signing for Clyde and taking part in two training sessions this week, Alan Lithgow is added to the matchday squad. Missing out are the injured midfield pair of Hadyn Cochrane and Stuart Mills.

Stuart Millar was certainly aware of how difficult the match would be against The Spiders, who opened the league season with a win at Montrose. “I watched them on Tuesday night and was very impressed,” he said.

“They are a fit, athletic young side who will provide a major test for us tomorrow.”

Admission to the South Stand is priced as follows:

Adult: £11
Under-16/Students/UB40s/Senior Citizen: £2
Parent & Child: £11 for parent and £1 for each accompanied child
