Lithgow Returns

Clyde FC can confirm that central defender Alan Lithgow has agreed terms to re-sign for the club for the 2010-11 campaign.

Alan initially joined the Bully Wee in October 2008 and went on to win three player of the year awards for his performances last season.
 
Director of football, Neil Watt commented on the conclusion of the deal this morning: “I fully understood Alan’s decision earlier in the summer to explore full-time opportunities but I’m pleased that he has chosen to return to Clyde.”
 
The deal was financed by the Supporters’ Trust’s Bully Wee Fund, a scheme in which supporters donate directly to the player budget, either by regular monthly contributions or one off donations.
