Close to Clyde’s Heart
British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland is the nation’s heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information.
When Frank Dunn was successful in the draw for the strip sponsorship, he approached BHF Scotland and director Marjory Burns was delighted to take up the offer of the logo being displayed on the back of the home strip.
Through his work as a cardiologist, Frank appreciates the outstanding work undertaken by the charity in research and education.
This is the first time BHF Scotland has achieved shirt sponsorship with a professional football club and this provides a unique opportunity to gain prominence both within the local community in Cumbernauld and to the wider footballing world.
Clyde are delighted to be associated with BHF Scotland and to play their part in the fight against heart disease and to promote better health for all.
Marjory Burns said: “We’re really grateful to Frank for choosing BHF Scotland to receive shirt sponsorship, which is a new and exciting prospect for us. It’s really important that we get our messages about how to keep your heart healthy, and how to prevent heart disease, into the community and this is an excellent way to raise our profile.”
