Head coach Stuart Millar was a happy man this evening as he contacted www.clydefc.co.uk with news of a further signing for the Bully Wee.
“I’m pleased to announce that central defender Murray Henderson is our latest signing, from Stranraer,” Stuart said.
Murray, 29, has considerable experience having played for Stranraer (twice), Ayr United and Queen of the South. At 6’3″ he will add a physical presence to the heart of the Clyde defence.
Stuart continued, “Murray has great leadership qualities and a tremendous will to win. His experience will be of huge benefit in the coming season as we will, in the main, have a very young group of players, inexperienced at SFL level.”
Look out for further updates during the week, as Stuart and Neil Watt continue to talk to players with a view to building the bulk of the squad ahead of pre-season training.
