First Summer Signing

Stuart Millar has made his first new addition to the squad by bringing Haydn Cochrane to Broadwood from Celtic.

The midfielder, 19, has been with the Bhoys from the age of 10 and during that time he was capped by Scotland at all youth levels.

After being part of the under-19 squad last season, Haydn decided to leave Celtic Park in search of first team football to further his development. Clyde’s head coach was pleased to offer him that opportunity in Cumbernauld, as he explained to www.clydefc.co.uk:-

“Haydn has had a great football education but he now needs to take his career to the next level, which he can achieve with regular action in the SFL,” Stuart said.

“We have high hopes for this talented youngster but we will handle his development with care.

“He is a well-mannered young man, a credit to his family and I’m absolutely delighted to bring him to Clyde.”
