Busy Time Ahead for Under-17s

One of the club’s Academy teams is looking forward to a busy period of matches as the season comes to a close, with two cup competitions taking place.

The under-17s are still due to represent the Bully Wee in the Glasgow Cup, with the previously postponed semi-final against Rangers now taking place on Tuesday 13th April at Broadwood.

This week, the youngsters also found out their opposition in the IRN-BRU SFL under-17 Youth Cup. The West section is split into two groups and Clyde have been matched with Livingston, Queen’s Park and Airdrie.

The winners of that quartet will meet the other group winners (Morton, Dumbarton, Queen of the South or Ayr United) for the right to play the top East side (East Fife, Arbroath, Peterhead or Alloa) in the final.

Look out for news on the lads’ progress in both cups on the homepage and in the Youth Academy section of the website.
