Newcomers to Face Brechin

The action looks set to finally restart tomorrow after a six week break, with Brechin City visiting Cumbernauld on IRN-BRU Second Division duty.

Incredibly, the match will only be John McCormack’s third in charge in the league and it will be a new-look Clyde team that will face Jim Duffy’s side, as Cowboy explained:-

“It’ll be good to be back playing and the boys are really looking forward getting back to action. Three players will make their debut tomorrow; Willie Kinniburgh, Adam Strachan and John Stewart. It will be up to them to prove their worth and make sure they keep their places in the side.

“Tomorrow will be a difficult game but it’s good that it’s at home and the lads’ spirit is excellent. We need to get three points and start climbing up this league. That’s what it’s all about at the moment and we are completely focussed on that.”

It’s sure to be an interesting afternoon at Broadwood so come along and help cheer on the team to a positive start to 2010!
