McFadden Leaves Clyde
Alan McFadden has today left the Bully Wee by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old forward joined the club from Maryhill Juniors in July, after taking part in the summer trials. He went on to feature in 13 matches, claiming 2 assists.
John McCormack said, “I had a long chat with Alan. He is a great lad and good to have about the dressing room but he wants to play regularly and that’s something that we have not been able to give him.
“He has decided to go elsewhere so he can play on a regular basis and we released him from his contract this morning. I fully understand his reasons there are no hard feelings. We wish him well.”
The Clyde boss was also keen to stress that talks are ongoing with a number of players, to add to the squad and increase competition for places.
