There was further squad news this morning with confirmation that Paul Stewart has left the Bully Wee by mutual consent.
The midfielder was in his second spell at Broadwood, having previously broken into the first team as a teenager. He went on to play for Queen of the South, Stranraer, East Stirling and East Fife but returned to Clyde this year for the summer trials. During that time his experience was a valuable asset to the younger players around him.
Paul, 30, featured in 19 matches since then and leaves the club with everyone’s best wishes.
