Players’ Apology
Callum Reidford contacted www.clydefc.co.uk this morning with a simple message for supporters:-
“On behalf of all the squad I would like to apologise to all Clyde supporters, especially to the fans that travelled, for last night’s performance against Livingston.
“The players are embarrassed, and so we should be, but we are also hurting and will make amends.”
The Bully Wee ‘keeper had to pick the ball out of the net seven times but was certainly not singled out on a night when the whole team was brutally exposed after a very challenging ten days.
“I want to make it clear it will never happen again,” he continued. “The performance was unacceptable and we will work as hard as we can to repay the damage caused by last night’s display, so all of the support can take a pride in the Clyde again.”
