Injury Update
As reported last night, the defeat at Stenhousemuir was a costly one in terms of injuries to two of the club’s players.
Ally Park, who fell awkwardly after an innocuous challenge, suffered a dislocated shoulder and needed a trip to hospital. He now requires to have his arm in a sling for a fortnight, after which a further recuperation period will be required before he can think about returning to the team.
Youngster Kevin Higgins took an early head knock and also required medical attention for severe concussion, which will keep him out for at least a week.
They will, of course, miss tomorrow’s Scottish Cup replay at Livingston and are likely to be joined on the sidelines by Marvyn Wilson (knee).
Their absence will make a tough ask even harder for John McCormack and the Clyde squad, but they are determined to reach the next round and face Dundee at Broadwood.
