Statement: Media Report

Further to an article, printed today in a tabloid newspaper, which concerned the arrest of a member of the public allegedly at Broadwood Stadium. The club has issued the following statement:

Despite what was stated in the report, Clyde FC had no knowledge of this matter and it was never previously brought to the club’s attention.

After initial enquiries, club staff have been informed by local police that no such incident ever took place. 

The club will however make further enquiries in the course of the coming week and take whatever action is necessary in order to defend its name and reputation.
