Davidson Move on Hold
Former Rangers and Dundee striker Bob Davidson (right), who featured as a trialist for Clyde in two recent matches before missing the Cowdenbeath game, could still be a future target for John Brown.
The Clyde boss explained the situation to the official website:-
“The bottom line is Bob needs to get fit. At present he has a hamstring injury but he has been struggling with his own fitness levels. We can’t afford to wait and put him on a program to get him up to match fitness.
“The door is not closed, but for the moment he is down the pecking order and it’s up to him to impress us.”
Following the loan additions of Lee Graham and Jordan White, John confirmed that trying to add to the squad was an ongoing process:-
“We are constantly looking at ways in which we can improve the squad. We had a bounce game on Monday against Petershill where a couple of trialists impressed and that is an example of us preparing for the January transfer window.
“We will not stop looking for ways in which we can strengthen the team.”
