Squad News for Fife Trip

Clyde’s next destination in the Second Division is Methil tomorrow, for a first meeting with East Fife in over ten years.

It looks like there will be changes to the Bully Wee squad following last week’s win over Brechin City. Discussions with Marvyn Wilson are ongoing, but currently no deal to re-sign the midfielder has been agreed and he cannot feature as a trialist in any more matches.

Dave McKay and Darren Walker continue to be ruled out by injury. John Brown also has doubts over two other players, with their fitness to be assessed tomorrow.

Supporters’ Bus Information

Coming into the squad are Connor Stevenson, Steven Howarth and new signing Gary Muir. On today’s capture from Lisburn Distillery, the Clyde boss said:-

“I’m pleased to get Gary on board. He has some experience and provides pace and energy from a wide position.”

The players will wear black armbands tomorrow as a mark of respect following the death of former Scottish Football Association president and FIFA vice-president David Will.
