East Fife 1-0 Clyde
For the fourth time this season, Clyde fell to a single goal defeat today, this time at New Bayview.
Connor Stevenson returned to the starting line-up to replace Marvyn Wilson, but the match started badly for the Bully Wee. An inswinging corner was not dealt with and Kerr headed home at the near post to make it 1-0.
The general standard of football was very poor throughout, not helped by a swirling wind. Paul McLeod had a glorious chance to level however, but he hit the home ‘keeper from close range. Jay Lang was also unlucky to see a free-kick come back off the post.
The second half had even less chances at both ends, with Willie Sawyers coming closest when Lithgow gave him the ball in the box and he shot just wide.
Like Cowdenbeath a fortnight ago though, Clyde did not create enough to get back into the match and continue to look for a first away win.
