Youth Cup Draw 2009-10
The first and second round draws for this season’s Scottish FA Youth Cup were conducted at Hampden on Monday by Association President, George Peat.
Clyde have been handed a first round bye, with a trip to face Airdrie or Kilmarnock in the second round. The match is due to take place on Sunday 4th October.
56 clubs have signed up to take part in the 2009-10 competition.
As in previous years 40 teams will compete in the first two rounds which were drawn regionally in order to minimise travelling for clubs.
Then in the third round the 16 teams who reached the fourth round of last year’s competition will join the draw.
This will include current holders Hibernian, who defeated Rangers 2-1 after extra-time in the 2008-09 Final at Hampden Park in April.
