Trials Begin

John Brown and Dougie Bell’s efforts to build a new squad for the Bully Wee will reach full pace today as the trials begin at Broadwood, with media interest in the project again being very high.

Around 60 people have been invited to take part throughout the week, from a wide range of different backgrounds. Players who were previously on the club’s books a few years ago, at first team or youth level, are also included in the hopefuls who want to pull on a white jersey during 2009-10.

After split morning and afternoon sessions at the stadium today, the Little Kerse facility in Grangemouth will host the rest of the week’s tryouts.
