Chairman Ian Letham contacted the official website to pass on the team’s appreciation of the Clyde support at Firhill yesterday:-

“The derby match fell at the end of a difficult week for the club but our supporters were able to concentrate on the football for 90 minutes and give the team great support.

“It wasn’t the biggest crowd we’ve ever taken to Firhill but the fans that made it certainly got behind the players right from the start. They played their part in getting a much needed win.

“I know the team got a real boost from it, following a very disappointing night for them on Tuesday. I’m sure that more of the same backing in the last quarter of the season would go a long way to helping the squad try and move out the relegation places.”
