Cappielow Awaits
The Bully Wee make the short trip down to Greenock tomorrow for yet another big match in the IRN-BRU First Division.
Pat Clarke is injured and suspended but the only other absentees are long-term victims Marc McCusker and Neil McGregor.
Assistant manager Dougie Bell spoke to the official website this evening:-
“We were very poor on Tuesday after a great performance at Firhill and that was disappointing. We didn’t get close to them, particularly in the first half, but we’ve worked hard at training since. The players looked really sharp today.
“We want to start the game well and, as I said last week, we’ve really got to go out and get wins now. Cappielow is a tight pitch and first and foremost we have to be willing to work hard and dig in.
“We’ve got a few options in terms of players and we could make one or two changes. I don’t think our team will need much motivation tomorrow and a win could bring a few teams back towards us again.”
