Funding the Future

Clyde fans have again helped to bolster the squad by securing the signings of two Bully Wee youngsters considered to have a great future in the game.

Striker Jordan Morton (left) and midfielder Connor Stevenson have both stepped up to professional contracts thanks to the backing of the Bully Wee Fund. The pro-youth duo, both aged 16, have been watched by a number of top clubs from North and South of the border and have featured for the reserve side in recent weeks.

Along with the recent international recognition for Steven Howarth, Sean Febers and Jordan Allan, the news demonstrates the growing reputation of the quality of kids currently being produced by Clyde.

The Bully Wee Fund, which is administered by the Clyde Supporters’ Trust, has now ensured the young players’ immediate future lies at the club. The fans that make much valued contributions to the scheme will be hoping that they follow the footsteps of a previous Fund player, Craig Bryson.
