Impressed? Just a Tadé!

Grégory Tadé certainly had an eventful 24 hours. He completed a move to Broadwood this morning and just a few hours later took his place in the starting line-up against Ross County.
The midfielder spoke to the press and the official website after the match, which finished 2-0 for the Bully Wee:-
“It was a hard shift, there’s a big gap between the Second Division and the First. I was a bit out of breath at the start of the game but my teammates told me to keep going and after that I was able to get on the ball and build up my confidence.
“I know that I need to improve a lot to keep myself in the team, but I hope I can do that even although it will be hard.”
Grégory’s performance was well received by the Bully Wee support and he was given warm applause when he was substituted in the second half:-
“That was a welcome situation, although I don’t know if it would have been the same if we’d been losing! I don’t think I played very badly and the crowd made me feel welcome. I enjoyed that.”
He revealed that he had been aware of interest from other First Division clubs and was honest about the mixed emotions he felt:-
“I am pleased for my own career to have made the step up but I will miss Stranraer. We had a good bond there and I am gutted that they got beaten so badly today. Unfortunately there’s nothing I can do for them now but I will continue to support them.”
Grégory’s conclusion to the media conference left no doubt about his determination to succeed at Clyde:-
“I’m going to be leaving my job at IBM in Greenock on Friday so I need to tell the manager that I can’t train this week which is going to be hard to say! If the manager wants me to come in and train at night I will do it as it’s not his fault… I’ll just be late for work!
“I’m going to give this my best shot – if I don’t make it I’ll be able to say that I gave it everything and even gave up my job for it. I don’t want to have any excuses.”
