December Award for Bomber

John Brown has been named IRN-BRU Phenomenal First Division Manager of the Month for December 2008.

The Bully Wee took a very credible seven points out of twelve during the month and lifted themselves up the table in the process.

The Clyde boss was blunt when he spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk after receiving the award at Hampden:-

“Well it’s certainly not for the last two games! Nevertheless I’m delighted to get the award but it’s all down to the players for their performances in December.

“The announcement has given us all a boost as it has reminded us of what we achieved last month but our focus is on the here and now. 

“We are in the results business and we need to start winning again. Hopefully this award will kick-start another run so we can start moving up the league.”
