Fan Power for SSBA

Saturday is of course the first derby match of the season as Clyde host Partick Thistle at Broadwood. However, fans of both clubs have made efforts that attention is focussed, at least momentarily, for matters off the park.

The Clyde Supporters’ Trust is keen to raise awareness of Cumbernauld based charity, the Scottish Spina Bifida Association. The SSBA, who support over 3,000 individuals across Scotland who are affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, has its national headquarters a goal-kick away from Broadwood Stadium and the Trust have arranged to make Saturday’s derby day with Partick Thistle a special one for the organisation.

A collection will be made on SSBA’s behalf prior to the eagerly awaited clash. The Clyde Supporters’ Trust would also like to thank the Jags Trust for supporting the collection which will be held as fans enter the ground.

The Clyde Supporters’ Trust, Clyde Football Club and the Scottish Spina Bifida Association are also hoping to make an announcement on Saturday that further demonstrates their growing partnership.
