Gemmill Joins The Bully Wee

Former St.Mirren and Berwick Rangers forward Scott Gemmill, 21, has signed a one-year deal with the club.

Gemmill, who scored six goals for Berwick last season, had been training with the club during pre-season and played as a trialist in the two practice matches that were played at Little Kerse.

John Brown spoke to the official website about the signing:-

“Scott’s come in and done well. He’s a hungry and hardworking player and in the two bounce games he played in he showed up well. I think he’ll be one to keep an eye on.

“I know he’s coming from the Second Division but I’ve signed a player from Eddlewood Amatuers who’s just played against Kenny Miller and Jean-Claude Darcheville and we’ve got two guys in from Queen’s Park already. It doesn’t matter to me – I look for guys who are hungry and want to progress their career.

“I think there’s something there and he has already shown me that he is willing to work hard and listen.”
