Brown Announces Dual Captaincy

John Brown today informed the squad that he has decided to appoint a club captain and a team captain.

Marvyn Wilson has been named as club captain and Stuart Kettlewell (left) will be the team captain on the pitch.

Speaking after the 2-0 win, John said:-

“Marvyn will be club captain for his experience and influence on the younger players.

“Stuart’s come in and brought a freshness. I thought he was our man of the match today and changed the game.

“We want eleven captains on the pitch every week but that’s my decision and I think it’ll turn out to be the right one.”
