Laud and Proud!
The club are delighted to announce tonight that Brian Laudrup – one of Europe’s greatest ever players – will make a guest appearance for The Bully Wee in the pre-season friendly against Rangers on Tuesday, 22nd July.
The match will also feature a full first team squad from The Gers.
Laudrup, of course, enjoyed a hugely successful spell with the Ibrox club from 1994-1998, winning three Championships, one Scottish Cup and one League Cup. He also boasts a European Championship win (1992), a Serie A win (1993-94) and four Danish Player of the Year awards.
Brian is now involved with coaching and broadcasting in his native Denmark but was said to be delighted to team up with former team-mates John Brown and Andy Goram for the match at Broadwood.
The Clyde boss also hopes that Jorg Albertz will be available to make a final appearance for the club that night.
