Assistant Manager Position Confirmed

Dougie Bell, who has been a coach at the club for three years, has been named as John Brown’s assistant manager as the Clyde boss confirmed his staff to www.clydefc.co.uk.

After a spell playing for the club in the 90s, Dougie returned in 2005 to lead the under-19 side and in 2006 he stepped up to first team duties. His experience and enthusiasm, both on the training ground and in the dugout, has been invaluable since.

His commitment to the club has been evident throughout the time and it’s no surprise that John has made the appointment.

As previously announced, Gary Bollan will now combine his youth development role with first team coaching and Andy Goram will also continue as goalkeeping coach. Physio Iain McKinlay completes the coaching staff line-up ahead of the 2008-09 campaign.
