Hampden Day For Young Fans

Young Clyde season ticket holders Charlotte and Alexander Fulton enjoyed a special day out at Hampden Park last week.

Charlotte, 5, won third prize in the Primary 1-4 category for her poem for the ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ campaign, winning £100 for her school Calderwood Primary. She was joined at the prize giving by Christian Smith and Sean Fagan.

Her big brother Alexander, 7, also attended the event but is currently recovering from open heart surgery and won’t make it back to Broadwood until the last match of the season, making the visit of the players all the more special for him.

Both have been watching The Bully Wee since they were very young. Their dad, Ally, is also a season ticket holder having been introduced to the club at Shawfield by his own father, who was lucky enough to witness both Scottish Cup Finals in 1955 and 1958.

Well done, Charlotte!
