Clyde V Queen Of The South
Clyde host Queen of the South at Broadwood tomorrow, in what is another crucial IRN-BRU First Division match for John Brown and his men. The Clyde Manager spoke to the Official Website this afternoon:-
“Queen of the South are going well but it’s a home tie for us so we have to try and use that to our advantage. Every match is a cup final.”
Clyde have no fewer than seven players unavailable for the match. Out suspended are Iain Campbell, Jimmy Gibson, Pat Clarke and Chris Higgins, while Craig McKeown (groin), Marvyn Wilson (virus) and Sean Fagan (thigh) are all ruled out through injury or illness.
However, Gary Arbuckle will return to the side and Christian Smith and Dave McKay have both recovered in time to feature, following knocks picked up last Saturday.
Jorg Albertz and Gary McSwegan look set to keep their places in the side and new signing Marc McCusker will also be included in the squad. John continued:-
“Queens are an experienced team on a fantastic run. O’Connor and Dobbie in particular can cause you real problems.
“It’s going to be a very difficult game for us but we go into it knowing that we need to keep getting results.
“Something has to give at Cappielow so it’s an opportunity for us to put in a good performance and get something from the game.”
