Clyde 1 v 1 Morton

The Bully Wee staged a gutsy comeback to earn a point against fellow strugglers Morton at a wet and wild Broadwood tonight.

The first half was dominated by a storm that made playing football extremely difficult and the visitors capitalised by opening the scoring via a wind assisted corner.

John Brown made two changes at half-time and Clyde raised their game. Pat Clarke equalised on 56 minutes, thanks to his persistence and a mistake by ‘keeper Robinson.

There were chances at both ends thereafter, with Clarke, Dave McKay and Stevie Masterton all coming close to grabbing the three points.
