Three Out For Pars Visit

The Bully Wee will be without two midfielders for the match against Dunfermline Athletic at Broadwood tomorrow. Steven Masterton and Ruari MacLennan are both suffering from a viral infection and will miss out.

Gary Arbuckle is, of course, the third player unavailable for selection due to his broken jaw.

However, Marvyn Wilson and Jimmy Gibson are both in contention to make a return to action and new signing Dave McKay is eligible to make his debut if selected.

Clyde boss John Brown spoke to the Official Website ahead of the important fixture:-

“This week we have touched on our last home match against Stirling Albion because it wasn’t great for the lads. However, we have picked up a good result since then at Morton.

“We were disappointed to miss out last week but it gave us another week to improve the players’ sharpness. I think we’re beginning to see a difference now and that showed against Rangers during the week. We did a lot of good things in the match both on and off the ball.

“I saw Dunfermline last week against Partick and they have a lot of experienced players that can hurt you if you aren’t careful.

“We’ve spoken about our home form and it has to improve. Six of our twelve matches remaining are at home and if we can get results in the majority of them then we’ll have an excellent chance of staying up.

“I think the supporters will see a different Clyde team at Broadwood tomorrow.”
