Clyde 1 v 2 Dunfermline

Clyde suffered another defeat at Broadwood today in a match that was influenced by very blustery conditions.

The Bully Wee were left with an uphill task when, against the wind, two poor goals were conceded before half-time. Simmons got the first with a header that looped over David Hutton and, following slack play in midfield, Burchill tapped in the second after Hutton blocked a shot.

Jimmy Gibson and Michael McGowan were introduced to the team at the break and some improvement was shown during the second 45 minutes.

However, Clyde could only find one goal via a well converted penalty by Pat Clarke after David McGowan was brought down in the box.
