Cup Negotiations Ongoing

Frank Dunn contacted the Official Website to update supporters on the situation regarding the Dundee United fixture, following a busy Sunday morning:-

“Tuesday night at 7.45pm was the original date and time planned in the event of a postponement but I should stress that this hasn’t been confirmed yet, as both clubs continue to try to find a time when a live screening is possible.

“The Board appreciates that our supporters, and those of Dundee United, are waiting on a firm date for the match and we’re doing everything we can to get the situation resolved as quickly as possible.

“Both clubs are working closely with Sky, who have been extremely helpful, and the football authorities to try and find a suitable outcome. Dundee United have been very supportive in the process.

“We’ve been in talks with a number of people already this morning and this will continue for the rest of the day. We hope to have some news to report tonight or, failing that, tomorrow morning at the latest.”
