Youth Cup Exit

An under strength Clyde under-19 side was knocked out of the SFA Youth Cup by Hamilton on Sunday, via a 2-3 defeat at Broadwood.

The Bully Wee twice took the lead through the impressive Roddy MacLennan and Martin McGowan before Juan Carrio was sent off for two bookable offences.

That gave Accies the lift they needed and two late goals sealed their passage into the next round.

Despite the scoreline, the Clyde coaches present were very pleased with the performance, especially when taking into account the players missing through injury and first team squad duty.
