Closed Door Match

The Bully Wee returned to action tonight with a closed door game against East Stirling. Against Gordon Wylde’s Shire outfit, Clyde started with a lot of familiar faces and gradually introduced more Youth Development players and trialists as the match progressed.

It finished 3-2 to East Stirling but Colin Hendry commented afterwards that it had been an extremely useful outing and that he had learned a lot about the squad. Clyde’s goals came from a left-sided trialist and Steven Masterton, with a trademark free-kick.

Next up for the team is a trip to Ochilview to play Stenhousemuir on Friday night, again behind closed doors. The Official Website will bring you news from it later on that evening.
