Livingston 0 v 0 Clyde
In a match that certainly wasn’t as bad as the scoreline suggests a draw was considered fair by both managers who watched their sides struggle to hit top form on a fine night for football.
Clyde suffered an early setback when Ryan McCann was forced to leave the park injured but shortly after that the home goalkeeper pulled off a tremendous save to deny Gary Arbuckle from close range. Livi then dominated the majority of the first half without creating any clear cut chances.
A much improved Bully Wee side then controlled most of the second half with Arbuckle again and Masterton coming close, but substitute Alex Williams missed the best chance of the night in injury time when he broke the offside trap and then shot wide with only the ‘keeper between him and the goal.
Livingston’s nearest effort came with about ten minutes to go when Robert Harris did well to slide and clear a shot off the line.
