Clyde 0 v 1 Airdrie Utd

A very poor display by The Bully Wee handed Airdrie the chance to take a vital three points and they duly did thanks to a strike by former Clyde man Kevin McDonald.

The visitors started the match well and could have been ahead before McDonald’s speculative effort surprised everyone and sneaked in off the post.

Chances after that were few and far between as Airdrie camped in their own half and Clyde offered little, with several players’ performances falling well below the standard set only weeks ago.
