Clyde v Hamilton

The Bully Wee will go into the home encounter with Billy Reid’s Hamilton side able to choose from the same squad responsible for the recent tremendous form that has resulted in three consecutive wins. Joe Miller talked to www.clydefc.co.uk today:-

“I’m delighted with the way things are going and long may it continue. We’re still working hard and doing the same things in training. Nobody is getting carried away. It’s a different dressing room now and there’s a better atmosphere about the place. The boys are really enjoying their football at the moment.

“There’s a good balance about the side and everyone is working hard on the park. Ryan McCann has used his experience to help others around him and now that he is getting a run in the team is showing everyone what kind of player he is. Steven Masterton and Robert Harris have come on in leaps and bounds.

“This week I’d like to mention Chris Higgins who I think has been outstanding all season. He’s not the type of player that gets a lot of plaudits but he certainly gets them from me. I think he’s come on a ton this season and he really works hard at his game.

“It’s in the boys’ hands how well they finish the season. They’ve now set standards that the crowd expect but they are professional enough now to accept criticism and overcome it by responding in the way they have recently.”
