Clyde v Ross County

Despite the poor weather conditions Clyde are looking forward to the visit of Ross County tomorrow at Broadwood. Joe Miller was pleased with the week’s training and was impressed by a number of the trialists though he was reluctant to name names.

“We did try for Beckham but he chose Hollywood rather than Broadwood! A couple of the lads worked out well and I’ll be bringing some more new faces in next week so we’ll see how it goes.”

For tomorrow’s game Joe seems set to freshen up the squad. Youngsters David McGowan and Ruari MacLennan (pictured) are likely to be in the 16. Joe commented, “I have high hopes for them, they are talented lads who deserve their opportunity. They train each day with the first team and have got themselves into contention by their skill and application.

“Its guys like these who are the future of Clyde it is encouraging to see the talent emerge from our under-19 side.”
