Clyde 4 Queen Of The South 0
Clyde enjoyed an excellent 4 goal victory over Queen of the South this afternoon. The only matter left for debate was who got the goals! Dougie Imrie felt aggrieved that he wasn’t credited with a double but on video evidence it appears that it was Neil McGregor who grabbed the opener before a Swift own goal followed a minute later.
After the interval Gary Arbuckle got his second in two games as he deflected with his outstretched toe an Imrie shot home and the final say was left to Paul McHale who confidently struck home a penalty in the closing minutes.
In both periods Queens started the brighter but it was Clyde who dominated the majority of the game leaving visiting manager Ian McCall perplexed at how his side cannot transform their home form into results on the road. The Clyde team was just delighted at getting some goals and importantly getting that winning habit again.
