Weekend Preview
It is set to be another competitive weekend in the Scottish First Division apart from Clyde’s tie with Livingston another top match seems set to be at Dens Park…
First Division matches this weekend:
Dundee v St. Johnstone: Dundee will be hoping to build on a string of victories. This would be their 4th in a row in the league. St.Johnstone are now looking to up the pace as they got a good draw away to Livi on Saturday .
Gretna v Airdrie United: Gretna thumped Partick Thistle at Firhill last week and will be looking for more of the same against an out of form Airdrie Utd side.
Things are really not looking to good at Airdrie with only 1 point gained this season a win at Raydale would be a big upset.
Hamilton v Queen of the South: Billy Reid will be satisfied with their 1-0 away win at County last week and hopes for more goals against another struggling team in Queens. Ian McCall was furious with his players last week against the Bully Wee and will be demanding more from the Palmerston boys.
Partick Thistle v Ross County: Two teams desperate for a win. Thistle fresh from the backlash of a heavy defeat against Gretna’s recent results while Ross County wil be hoping to turn their cup form into league points.
