Joe Miller reported no injury or suspension worries for Saturday’s match against Livingston. Joe commented, “We’ve now gone 6 games without defeat and conceded 1 goal. We need to continue that form on Saturday and but Livingston will be a real test for us. Reaching the Challenge Cup final has given the lads a real boost and this rise in confidence has come at a good time as October is a huge month for us.”

Clyde look set to name an unchanged squad and one player likely to start will be Dougie Imrie, “Dougie has been fantastic in virtually every game. He never gives defenders a minute’s peace and we will need him to be at his best.”

“Wednesday was an important match but I never had any fears about the lads. Everyone keeps on saying we need experience but these boys have become men. Who else at their age could say they have played against three of the World’s biggest clubs and competed well. All of the squad have played a lot of games now including those matches against Manchester United, Rangers and Celtic.”

“But we are under no illusions. We need to keep on playing well so we can climb the league and start challenging at the right end of the table. And that move starts tomorrow against one of the favourites for promotion Livingston”
