Jim Murray Leaves Board

Jim Murray has confirmed to Chairman Len McGuire his decision to resign as a director of Clyde Football Club due to business commitments which have forced him to stand down.

Life long supporter Jim, a qualified accountant, has recently changed jobs which will restrict the time he has available to be at the club. Being a director of Clyde is a seven days a week commitment and his change of circumstances will greatly reduce his availability.

All the directors wish him every success in the future and it is testimony to Jim dedication to the club that he volunteered to work on specific projects as a consultant when required. However it is equally typical of Jim that as he could not guarantee his presence on a consistent basis he has taken this decision to resign.

The Board fully understands his reasons for standing down at this time and wish to place on record their appreciation of Jim’s unstinting effort, enthusiasm and dedication in the rebuilding of the Bully Wee in recent years.
