Hutton On Board

Joe Miller tonight confirmed the signature of goalkeeper David Hutton. The 21 year old Hutton started his career with Aberdeen but despite spending some time with Ayr United dropped out of the senior game to play with Petershill Juniors.

Tommy Coyne, who was instrumental in recommending Dougie Imrie to the club last season, was aware of Hutton’s talent. The youngster was assessed by goalkeeping coach Peter Latchford and was happy to return to full time football.

Joe commented, “We have now added a new keeper in David Hutton to the squad. He has signed but was not registered in time for today. The SFL offices are at Hampden so I think the Rolling Stones held it up!”
