Clyde boss Graham Roberts has certainly enthused over his experience so far in the tour of Canada. “The facilities over here have been first class and since arriving we have worked with local youngsters in specially arranged soccer clinics and that has gone really well. As I said before we left Scotland it was important to get the name of Clyde known further afield and we’ve achieved that but now we want to compete, play good football and win our two up and coming matches.”
“We certainly want to get off to a winning start tonight. Windsor Border Stars are a select side from the local league teams and I believe they are possibly the equivalent to the lower First Division
Graham confirmed that all of the touring party would get a run out “We have an 18-strong playing party with us and over the course of tonight’s game and Sunday’s clash with the CPSC All stars everyone will get a chance to shine but we are all focused on getting a victory tonight.”
